A Note from

Dr. Baum

Dear Valued Clients,

Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I am no longer with Lyons Veterinary Service. While this decision was not easy, I am grateful to share that our community has been fortunate to welcome two exceptional veterinarians, Dr. Anji and Dr. Darren Lippmann, who will be taking over the practice. Dr. Anji and Dr. Darren bring a wealth of experience and will continue providing the same compassionate and dedicated care that you and your pets have come to expect. In addition, they are excited to offer expanded surgical services, including some orthopedic procedures, to better meet the needs of our valued patients. I’m also pleased to share that the wonderful staff you know and trust has remained unchanged and will continue to support you and your pets with the same level of care and commitment. Thank you for the trust and support you have shown me over the years.

With thanks,

Ailena M. Baum, DVM

VACCINATIONS

Vaccinations are critical in creating immunity to many common (and deadly) disease that pose a threat to dogs and cats.  Rabies and distemper are two well known disease that are easily prevented through vaccination.  At Lyons Veterinary Service we are committed to making needed vaccinations as safe and painless as possible for your pet.  For cats we provide Merial's Purevax line of vaccines--proven to NOT cause vaccine associated sarcomas--and our canine rabies vaccines are thimerosal free!  If you are concerned about over-vaccination we offer titer checks to accurately and individually assess if your pet's immunity is adequate from previous vaccines or if a booster is needed.
