ABOUT US

At Lyons Veterinary Service we believe in providing conscientious care to pets and great service to their people.  Animals were created to be companions for people and they excel at this task.   We believe the human animal bond has the power to improve the quality, and even length, of our human lives.  In return for the companionship that our pets give us it is only fair that we in turn take care of them.

VACCINATIONS

Vaccinations are critical in creating immunity to many common (and deadly) disease that pose a threat to dogs and cats.  Rabies and distemper are two well known disease that are easily prevented through vaccination.  At Lyons Veterinary Service we are committed to making needed vaccinations as safe and painless as possible for your pet.  For cats we provide Merial's Purevax line of vaccines--proven to NOT cause vaccine associated sarcomas--and our canine rabies vaccines are thimerosal free!  If you are concerned about over-vaccination we offer titer checks to accurately and individually assess if your pet's immunity is adequate from previous vaccines or if a booster is needed.
